As per the India Today’s review, the subject wise paper analysis is as per following:
Physics: Physics portion was above the average. About 40 percent of the questions were very tough while the 40 percent were of medium level. The remaining 20 percent of the questions were found very easy to answer. Those who read the previous years papers should be pleased as there were a few old questions too.
Chemistry: Compared to last year’s exam, the questions asked in Chemistry subject were probably harder. About 60% questions were from the class 12 syllabus. Apart from two misleading questions, there were a few questions out of the NCERT books too.
Biology: The Biology paper was the easy one if we compare it with the previous year AIPMT examination. The questions from Class 11 and Class 12 were of the equal number. The same story was repeated here as a few questions were out of the syllabus and having the misleading options too.
The test is said to be easier than the one from the previous year. The All Indian Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) 2016, to be known as the first phase of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), took place on Sunday across the country at thousand of the venues. About 4.18 lakh candidates approached at the test centres to appear in this examination.
To avoid the unfair means of the test, there was a very strict dress code. All of the aspirants went through a cross-checking mode at the entry of the venue. NEET examination had 180 objective type questions based on subjects like physics, chemistry and biology (Botany & Zoology). The exam was conducted for a duration of three hours i.e. from 10 am to 1 pm.
NEET Question Paper leak may lead to the re-examination
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Phase 2 held peacefully everywhere in the country except Ramnagar and Haldwani of Nainital, Uttarakhand. The Police have caught 5 accused who were involved in the leak of NEET 2nd Phase question paper.
However, the police and CBSE are telling that the question paper was changed at very last minute but we strongly doubt it. How the paper can be changed and distributed to all national centers within a night? Seems CBSE is using it old tactics to avoid the hassle of a re-examination.
Around 40 aspirants of NEET 2 said that they bought the leaked NEET paper for the price ranging from 10 to 40 Lakh. The majority of the candidates who bought the paper were from Bihar and were staying with their parents in a local hotel when the police tracked them in Ramnagar.
The gang members took the money from the aspirants in advance. The candidates got the leaked question paper on Saturday night. The students told that they opted for the center in Haldwani because the area was suffering from recent natural calamity. So, they thought it would be easier to get their job done and get away easily in such area.
According to the Press Trust of India (PTI), CBSE has denied the leakage of NEET Phase II question Paper. According to CBSE, the examination was conducted without any tempering of the papers. The question paper captured from the alleged in Uttarakhand were completely different from the original ones. Those fake question papers were developed by the gang member just to churned out the money from the interested aspirants. The reports about NEET paper leak are the false ones, CBSE statement states.
Petition in Supreme Court demands NEET retest
Seems, the CBSE is going to taste the same experience as of the last year’s AIPMT leak. After 1- days of the NEET (Phase II) commencement, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court, seeking for the re-examination of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. Anshul Sharma, who filed the petition, is an aspirant of NEET Phase II which held on July 24, 2016.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE ) is failed again to commence a national level test without any issue. Back in 2015, the paper was leaked in Haryana state and a re-examination was called too. Now, the students are also seeking for a re-examination because according to them Uttarakhand state candidates got the advantage. Let’s see what the future have for CBSE NEET Phase II aspirants.
