APSET 2016 Admit Cards are available to download at the official website from today. The test is scheduled to be commenced on September 11, 2016. The hall ticket can be downloaded using Application Number, Account Password, and the security key shown at the official web page.
K. Srinivasa Rao, Member-Secretary of the AP State Eligibility Test told that a big part of the educated youths have shown the interest in this exam. Qualifying this test is vital to be eligible for assistant Professors / Lectures jobs on the state level. A total of 56,889 candidates has submitted the application form for the examination.
The test will be conducted at the following regional centers:
The duration of APSET is 3 Hours. The exam to be taking place in both morning shift and the evening shifts according to the following timing:
- Forenoon Session: 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
- Afternoon Session: 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Candidates are officially advised to be present at the venue 30 Minutes before the exam time.
Those who are going to attend the examination need to produce one govt identity card along with the original APSET admit card issued by the exam organizer. Earlier, Osmania University used to conduct this test but from 2016, the responsibility has been transferred to the Andhra Pradesh University.
University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted the AU to conduct APSET for next three years.
The highest applications are received for the life sciences while the lowest number of candidates are registered for linguistics. The test will be conducted for 31 subjects.
Paper-I will be available in both Telugu and English. Apart from that, Paper II and Paper III for eight subjects which includes commerce, economics, education, political science, public administration, sociology, social work and history, shall also be available in both of the languages.
