Every year, Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) conducts CSB Screening Test for eligibility of Teachers in Army Public Schools. This time, AWES is going to recruit almost 8,000 teachers (PGT, TGT, PRT) in their private funded schools. The selection will be made through the online test. AWES manages the better education facilities to children of Indian Army personnel.
The Selection process is not assured only on the basis of the online exam but there are a few other important elements too. The phases for the selection in Army Public Schools are following:

- Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency.

APS CSB Online Exam Pattern for TGT, PGT, PRT 2016
1. This computer-based online test will be having only multiple choice questions.
2. The duration of CSB test is 3 Hours for PGT, TGT vacancies while 90 Minutes for PRT vacancies.
3. From 2015, the negative marking has been introduced in APS CSB Examination. From now, 0.25 Mark will be deducted for a wrong answer given by the examinee.
4. The minimum cutoff marks for CSB Screening exam are 50%.
The vacancy-wise syllabus, marks are as per following:

Evaluation of Teaching skills and computer proficiency
This is the most vital step for the final selection in Army Public Schools. Mostly candidates clear the screening test but fail to impress the board members in this phase. For Language specific teachers, the written exam having Essay & Comprehension of 15 marks each is organized along with the teaching skill evaluation. The Computer Proficiency test is not required but it’s still in the hand of the committee whether they prefer it or not.
Every year, the screening exam for APS recruitment is conducted either in the last week of November or in the first week of December month. Those who have already qualified the screening test may appear again to improve their scorecard. This year, AWES will conduct CSB Screening Exam for APS jobs on 26/27 November 2016.
The CSB Score Card is valid for 3 years from the date of AWES APS Result announcement at AWES website www.awesindia.com. The admit card for AWES APS CSB Exam will be released 10-12 days prior to the date of the examination. The admit card are said to be out on 15th November (Tentatively) for the upcoming test. The AWES Result will be published on 15th December 2016.
