Instructions to download the BSNL J.E Call Letters 2016
All the eligible candidates have already been notified through Email and SMS about the release of BSNL JE Admit Card. If you couldn’t catch the notification then here is the guide you need to take printout of your BSNL Call letter for the online test:
- Log on to the official site at www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in .
- Enter the asked information, for example, application number, date of birth, password and so forth.
- After submitting the details, the Roll Number for respective examination will show up on screen.
- Candidates are informed to take the neat and clean print-out of the same.
The applicants going to write the exam must carry the personal identity card issued by the government agency. Your driving license, Aadhar card, Voter ID etc can be used as the personal identity proof.
The online BSNL exam for JE posts will be conducted at BSNL 25 circles headquarters only. If you’re not a resident of any of these 25 cities then we recommend you reaching the exam city at least one day before the date of examination.
BSNL JE Exam to be held online
It is the first time when BSNL has opted for the online test functionality for any of its recruitment tests. The selection for JE/TTA posts will be made through the All India Online Competitive Exam. The duration of this test is 3 hours starting from 10:00 A.M. Being a large scale test, it will be completed in multiple sessions.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. will conduct this test on various dates in the last week of September. Earlier, the test was said to be taken on the single date i.e 25th September 2016. But, many candidates got confused after downloading the admit card as the dates shown on them were 26th, 27th September and so on.
Candidates need to secure at least the following marks in the online test to remain qualified:
Marks in Each Section:
- Unreserved Category: 30% Marks.
- Reserved Category: 20% Marks.
Aggregated Cutoff (Overall Test):
- Unreserved Category: 40% Marks.
- Reserved Category: 33% Marks.
Later, BSNL has clarified that the exam can’t be conducted on a single day. Thus, the preparations have been made to conduct the BSNL J.E Exam on various dates starting from Sept 25th.
BSNL JE Exam Pattern 2016
