The CBSE board class 12th results are often a much awaited event in the entire country as the best of students take the CBSE exam with flying colors and go on to take admission in reputed colleges.

CBSE Result for 10th Class may be announced on 25th May 2017. This is first time in 20 years when CBSE has to delay the exam results due to the elections.
The results of CBSE +2 are all set to be released between the last week of May and the first week of June, as experts believe. They are released between the months of May and June every year.
They form the basis of merit and admission criteria to famed colleges and universities and are a great milestone in every student’s life. The Central Board of Secondary Education is the largest educational board that persists in India and conducts the class 12 examinations in the month of March every year.
More than 10 lakh students take this examination, annually and the number is on the rise as more schools continue to come within the umbrella of CBSE Board. The examinations for the 2016-2017 session have already started from March 9th and will continue to April 31st, 2017.

A total of 1098891 students are taking the Class 12 CBSE Examinations, 2017. The CBSE class 12 board results for 2015-2016 session were declared on 21st May, 2016. In 2016, there were a total of 10, 98,480 registered students from 10677 CBSE affiliated schools throughout the country.
Admission procedures in colleges and universities, especially those under the Central Government do not commence until CBSE +2 results are declared. This year too, we are expecting the results anytime in the month of May.
But it is also feared that due to the concluding assembly elections of 2017, results might be delayed and CBSE 2017 results would already be declared in June. Only then, admission procedures throughout colleges and universities in the country would begin.

In 2015, CBSE results had set a new record when Sarthak Gupta acquired a 99.99 percent in class 12 board exams and took the entire country by surprise.
In 2016 CBSE results, the average pass percentage secured by boys were 93.51 while that secured by girls was 90.61%. The average pass percent in its entirety stood at 94.30 percent which has seen a considerable rise to 2015’s 92.21 percent.

A new initiative has been taken up by CBSE Board of Education since 2016 where you get your hands on a digital version of your mark sheet which as useful as the one handed out by schools, right after CBSe 12th results are declared.
This is in collaboration with the Indian Government’s Digital India Project and you can easily your result from DigiLocker. DigiLocker will provide you with a username and a password, which would be sent to the number registered officially with the CBSE Board of Education and you can access your mark sheet by using this link – https://digilocker.gov.in
The CBSE Results 2017 for Class 12 examinees are expected to be released by the second week of June. Student should follow the below-give steps to check their CBSE 12th class Result 2017:
- It is advised to have a look on their official results website http://cbseresults.nic.in to see the results.
- Once your results are out, you should have your admit card handy.
- After opening the link that has been provided, you are required to enter your roll number and school code as provided on the admit card!

- Just take a screenshot or hard copy of it to save it permanently.
