The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewage Board (CMWSSB) notified an invitation of applications for the posts of Deputy Controller of Finance, Senior Accounts Manager, Assistant Engineer and Junior Assistant. There were a total number of vacancies number about 322.
What's New: CMWSSB has rescheduled the examination due to Anna University holding the TNEA 2017 counselling on the same dates in August. Now, the exam will be held in September 2017.
For filling up these vacancies the CMWSSB has been authorized to conduct a written examination for the selection of candidates who qualify with merit from the examination. These candidates are valid applicants who had submitted their applications before the 6th of March. The candidates can download the admit card from the official portal of CMWSSB, at www.chennaimetrowater.gov.in.
The exam will be conducted in the first week of September, more specifically, the Chennai Metro Water exam is planned to be held on two dates: 2nd September, 3rd September, respectively.
This allows the candidates to properly become acquainted with the question pattern and prepare themselves for the highly competitive nature of the exam. It also gives us an idea of how important the examination is as a viable form of building a career, provided that the candidates in question possess the necessary qualifications for applying to appear for the examination and get selected on the basis of marks obtained.

Depending on the post being pursued for, the question pattern and the nature of these questions would considerably vary by emphasizing upon the specialized knowledge of the applicant that is relevant to the post in concerned.
For example, for the post of an Assistant Engineer, the candidate has to attempt questions that test their knowledge on topics like reasoning and awareness, linguistic and computer skills and knowledge on any one of the types of engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical).
For a Junior Assistant post, the nature of the questions would essentially be the same, except a question that would test their numerical ability instead of a knowledge on engineering concepts.

As of now, the Chennai Metro Hall Tickets have not appeared, but when they are available, candidates should remember the process of downloading their CMWSSB admit cards.
Downloading Process for Chennai Metro Water Admit Card 2017
- They must first visit the official website www.chennaimetrowater.gov.in
- Then click on the “Admit Cards” section.
- Now, they would be prompted to enter their Registration Number and date of birth.
- On its submission, the admit card for the concerned candidate will be produced.
- This the aspirant needs to print and carry it to the examination centre, otherwise they will be debarred from giving their examination.
