The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched its most popular housing scheme on 30th June 2017. Forms are brochures are available online and offline since 1st July, 2017. Offline, they can be collected and purchased from Vikas Sadan and seven banks, namely Axis Bank, HDFC, ICICI, Yes Bank, State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank at DTC Counter.
This scheme is directly linked with the PM Awas Yojana – Urban Housing for all scheme which allows potential individuals to receive subsidy on the interest amount, if they use a bank loan to clear this scheme. The last date for submitting forms with the application fee is 11th August 2017.
If you are downloading the form online, you shall be required to pay the application fees of Rs 200 at the time of submission. All online payments will have to be completed via net banking. Offline payments have to be made by cheque or a demand draft to the “DDA Housing” payable at Delhi.
The process has been opened online this time. In 2014, the response was so overwhelming that the website crashed soon after the launch. Interested applicants can directly apply at the official website page of Delhi Development Authority (DDA). The official website is www.dda.org.in.

The flats up for the allotment are located across various parts of Delhi. The locations involve Rohini, Dwarka, Narela & Siraspur, Jasola, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, Jahangirpuri, Vasant Kunj, Sukhdev Vihar, SaritaVihar, Kalyan Vihar, Loknayakpuram, Mukherjee Nagar, Kondli Gharoli.
Both husband and wife can apply for flats separately but if both get allotment, one of them has to give up after mutual discussion. To apply for DDA Housing, you have to make sure that you are eligible by checking their eligible criteria. The applicant has to be an Indian citizens, 18 years of age or above.
The applicant must not own any residential flat or plot in urban areas of Delhi, New Delhi or Cantonment Area. The spouse of applicant as well as dependent relations like unmarried children must not own any such property in the aforementioned areas. One person can submit only one application.
But a husband and a wife can submit two applications separately for allotment but only one of them will be allowed to keep their allotment after mutual discussion. The prescribed application form is available for buying from Vikas Sadan along with the brochure from 30th June, 2017 for 200 rupees, inclusive of all taxes.
The E brochure that is available for downloading purposes from the official website contains all detailed information pertaining to flats, reservation, location map, allotment process and draw results.
For the allotment procedure of flats under Delhi Development Authority (DDA)’s Housing Scheme, live draw results will be conducted and the list of the names of winner would be announced and also put up on the online website. Computerized lottery shall be held in the presence of independent judges and the results shall be declared post that.
If one potential candidate surrenders the flat within 90 days of issuing of demand letter, 50 percent of the application fee would be forfeited. Beyond 90 days of issuing of demand letter, the entire registration fee shall be forfeited in case potential customer surrenders the flat.
