Himachal Pradesh Police Department has published the admit card for the post of the Sub-Inspector in Police. All the candidates should able to download their hall ticket from the official website of HP Police. The Police Department of Himachal had released a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector. Now the Department is going to conduct the written exam for this post. The HP police SI call letter is now hosted by the police department before the examination.

The recruitment notification for HPSSSB formerly called HPSSC was issued in March 2016 while the registrations for Sub-inspector ended on April 7, 2016. There are 16 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police under Post Code 478 that will be filled on the basis of the written test. The screening test for HPSSSB Sub-Inspector posts has been scheduled to be held on July 31, 2016.

HPSSB Sub-Inspector Screening Test Pattern, Syllabus 2016: The duration of objective type test is 2 Hours. There will be only the multiple choice questions up to Matriculation & Senior Secondary level. However, the written test is only for screening the candidates i.e marks for this exam won’t be counted while making the HP Police merit list.
Total marks for SI exam are 200. The questions in the screening exam will be from the syllabus of General English (Class 12th Level), Hindi (Matric level), General Knowledge including GK of HP state, Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affair & Logic.
Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency test are also of the qualifying nature which will be conducted only for those who will qualifying the screening test.
Finally, there will be a subjective test of 200 Marks for the qualifiers of the physical test. The subjective test includes the descriptive questions from General English & General Hindi languages including precis writing, Essay writing etc.
In last, the interview of 30 Marks will be taking place for the candidates who clears the subjective exam.
For Constable Post Candidates: The Himachal Pradesh Police Department is working under the state Government of Himachal Pradesh. It is headed by DGP (Director General of Police). Recently an employment notification was released by the department for 1500 vacant posts. Out of which 1200 post for male candidates and 300 posts for female candidates. The online application was closed on 15th March. Many job seekers were applied for these posts.
Now all the candidates are waiting for their police constable admit card. The first phase of this recruitment is Physical Standard Test (PST). The admit card for PST/ PET will be published by the department on its website. There are three events in physical standard test- racing, long jump and high jump.
In PST there will be 1500 meter race for male candidates and 800-meter race for female candidates. The time interval for this event is 6.15 minutes for male and 4.15 minutes for female candidates. Maximum 3 events will be allowed in the long jump and high jump but in racing, there will be only one chance for candidates to complete this task.

Selection Process: Aspirants who applied for this post will be selected after the process of PST/ PET, written exam, personality test, and medical examination. The candidates who qualified in the first phase will be selected for written exam. The written exam will be conducting for 80 marks and the questions will be asked from General English, Hindi, General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, Mathematics, and Science. After this process candidates were invited for the personality test and medical check up.
Aspirants who successfully complete all the tasks listed will be selected for the constable posts.
