Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to release the admit card for written exam of UDC, Assistants through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB).
These posts were advertised months ago in July 2017 with advertisement number “ISRO HQ:ICRB:03:2017”. Date of written test which has been confirmed now is 15th October 2017.
Latest News: ISRO will send the call letter for Assistants examination 2017 to the shortlisted applicants through e-mail September 30 onwards. The ISRO admit cards won’b sent via post, courier.

All updates regarding this recruitment should be checked by candidates at Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) official website. Questions will be asked in objective type form in this exam. There will be 80 questions divided in four section. Candidates can download the UDC, Assistants exam previous years papers for each subject from following links:

ISRO UDC, Assistants Exam Admit Card will be emailed to the candidates whose application is accepted. The online facility for downloading the call letters won’t be available anytime soon.
Note: Fulfilling the minimal required qualification doesn’t make the candidate eligible to appear in the ISRO Written Examination. The initial screening shall be done on the basis of candidate’s academic qualification, marks, and bio-data.
The written examination shall be hosted in October month in 09 cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Thiruvananthapuram, and New Delhi.
The organization holds the right to make changes in the exam center even at the last minute. However, a candidate’s request about changing the exam venue, time won’t be entertained.

The UDC-Assistants question paper to have the objective type questions in Part A and descriptive type in Part B. Aspirants will be short-listed for the skill test on the basis of the performance in the examination. The schedule and venue of the interview will be notified later.
- Each Question in Part A carries 3 Marks.
- There is negative marking of 0.50 Marks for each incorrect answer in Part A.
- Part B to have 3 Questions having 10 Marks each.
- The duration of the examination is 3 Hours.
- The minimum marks to secure in the written test is 50%.
The skill test carries “Qualifying” nature only. The score of the skill test won’t be used for the final selection. Candidate’s performance in the interview is the key to the final selection.
