Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has uploaded the call letters for written exam of Jr Engineer, UDC & LDC posts 2015. Written test to be held on 9th & 10th January, 2016. Applicants of this recruitment need to appear in the written test. Such candidates can download the admit card for PSPCL Exam from www.pspcl.in website using their Application Reference Number & birth date.
Recruitment for 2,397 vacancies was notified in Punjab state for these positions. Selection for the recruitment will be on the basis of written test & then a formal interview may be taking place. As the exam is going to be taking place in online mode so you must go through demo test to know more about the pattern of online examination.

PSPCL Exam Postponed Notice – Latest News
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) recently postponed the examination for LDC, UDC posts. As per the latest notice , examination scheduled for 26th, 27th & 28th December, 2015 has been postponed. New dates have been mentioned in the notification issued from PSPCL’s end. Now exam will be taking place on 9th and 10th January, 2016.
PSPCL Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2016
Exam on 19th & 20th December, 2015 was taken without any postponement. List of candidates for 19th & 20th Dec exam was released by the department. Here is the scheme for PSPCL written test 2015-16:
- There will be 100 M.C.Q in the paper.
- From the total, 60% portion will be from subject / trade relevant while the remaining portion will be from general subjects such as Reasoning, English & G.K.
- Negative marking of 0.25 mark for wrong answer is applicable.
- Minimum cut-off marks for candidates from general category is 50% while 40% for reserved category aspirants.
