The Examination took place on various dates in April-May 2017. Seeking the track record, SBI should take about two months to process and announce the outcomes for this examination.
State Bank of India conducted Probationary Officer online examination on April 29 & 30 and May 6 & 7, 2017. The overwhelmed response was noted on the exam venues as a job in SBI is almost every student’s dream.

The prelim examination was conducted for
100 markswith following subjects & questions:
English language: 30 questions.
Quantitative ability: 35 questions.
Quantitative aptitude: 35 questions.
The recruitment will be done through three phases:
- Preliminary Test.
- Main Examination.
- Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interviews.
The aspirants must know that the Prelim exam was one with
qualifying nature, no marks from the prelim test will be included in the merit list.
Candidates who get qualifies in the main exam will be able to grab the SBI PO Interview Call Letter one week before the GD, Personal Interview date. Only the shortlisted candidates will be appearing in Phase III of this recruitment.
The Main Examination will carry objective type questions for 200 Marks while the descriptive portion holds 50 Marks. SBI will hold the main examination in the first week of June.
