The Staff Selection Committee has released a notification for conducting an examination in order to fill up the posts of Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces and Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF. It will be an All India competitive exam that would aim at recruiting the most eligible candidates to the mentioned posts.
The official notification that has been released provides information regarding the date of registration, procedure of examination, eligibility criteria,day of examination and other relevant details examinees might need. The applicants must go through the entire notification before taking the decision to apply.
They will be marked on the basis of the written examination,PST and PET examinations besides the medical test. The online registration for this All India Competitive examination starts on 22nd April, 2017. Interested candidates must register themselves within 5P.M. on May 5,2017.
- The SSC CPO examination Paper 1 would be held between 30th June to 7th July 2017 in different centers chosen by the committee in charge.
- The SSC CPO Examination Paper 2 would be held on 8th October, 2017.
The All India Competitive Examination aims to recruit candidates into the positions mentioned below:
- Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police.
- Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF).
- Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
- Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
- Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF).
- Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
- Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
The age limit is within 20 to 2 years for the post of Sub Inspectors, CISF sub Inspectors and CRPF posts. The age would be reckoned in reference to 01.01.2017. Please keep in mind that the age recorded in board examinations and birth certificate. No other age would be considered other than the evidence in these mentioned documents.
Interested candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized University or a board. For Sub Inspector positions, a Driving License is essential or else they wouldn’t be considered for the Physical Standard Test or Physical Endurability Test. Candidates without Driving Licenses can apply for other CAPF examinations. Candidates who lack educational degrees in reference to 01.01.2017 aren’t eligible to apply for these examinations.
The examination requires evidence of board degrees and graduation certificates, failing which, the application would stand canceled by the commission. Candidates who have all the eligible qualities might proceed to application and should register themselves when the registration procedure begins.
SSC CPO Selection Process 2017
Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of their performances in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. They would have to pass the Physical Endurability Test. It doesn’t carry any marks but candidates have to pass that to be shortlisted for the medical test which would be conducted by any medical officer of CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
The Medical Test would stand out as the sole important factor for your selections into the recruitment procedure. The interested applicants then would have to pass Written examinations, Physical Efficiency test and the Medical Test to be recruited into the posts. After their recruitment as sub Inspectors has been done, they would then have to pass through a training procedure which has seven obstacles to be crossed. These include Jumping over the Vertical Board,
Holding the rope on jumping from the Board, Tarzan Swing, Jumping on the Horizontal Board, Parallel Rope, Monkey Crawl, Vertical Rope. Allocation to user departments would be done once the obstacles have been successfully passed. Allocations would be done on the basis of their merit and the options they have opted for. Applicants are required to submit all certificates and degrees in tangible forms or else their applications would stand canceled.
Unless there is a further notification from the commission the dates released would stand out as the final dates for different procedures in the recruitment. Candidates must prepare themselves well for the written examinations and secure their admit cards within time. They are also requested to keep a constant vigil on the official website ssconline.nic.in.
The applications for the posts would be done online and online registrations begin on 22nd April. It is advised to not keep the applications pending until the last date which is May 5th,2017. Also, keep in mind that registration closes at 5 P.M. on that day. The Paper 1 examination would be conducted in various places over various dates starting from 30th June to 7th July, 2017.
The Paper 2 examination would be held on 8th July throughout the country at mentioned examination centers. Admit cards would be pivotal for the entrance of the candidate to the examination halls.
