The Staff Selection Commission has recently conducted the Non-technical Multitasking Staff examination 2017. The state wise conduction of the examination was done in the months of April, May and June on various dates. SSC MTS Result 2017 for the Offline Written Test is being awaited currently by the examinee who attended it.
The MTS examination held on the 16th, 30th of April, 14th and 28th of May and 4th and 11th of June. Once the MTS 2017 results have been announced by the Staff Selection Commission authorities, the candidates who had appeared for the examination can view the status of their SSC results on the official website itself.
The candidates are advised to keep a track of the official website diligently and to work hard for this examination in order to ensure their chances. The selection of the applicants are based on their eligibility, their performance in the written examination and the vacancy of seats.

Interesting Events During SSC MTS Exams
MTS Paper Leak: The 30th April 2017 Second Shift Question Paper was leaked. Later, in the evening, Staff Selection Commission issued a press notice about the cancellation of the 2nd shift MTS Exam and holding the re-examination. Only those candidates who were present in the 2nd shift exam were eligible to appear in the re-test.
Bollywood Actor Giving MTS Exam?
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) remained in news when an SSC Admit Card with Abhishek Bachchan’s photo on it circulated through the social media. The Bollywood actor didn’t participate in the April 30 exam at Jaipur center anyway. It was a prank played by someone with the commission. SSC has been looking into the case.
Scheme of the Question Paper
The first paper contains objective type questions that are meant to test the reasoning skills and general intelligence of the individual candidates.
There are questions for testing the numerical aptitude and general English and the total marks of the entire paper is 200 marks. The first paper is of a duration of 2 hours.
The Paper 2 is more descriptive in nature and contains essay type English Questions and essay type Hindi questions of 50 marks in total and is conducted with a duration of 30 minutes.

How to Check SSC Multitasking Result 2016-17
The aspirants who attended the national level SSC MTS Exam 2017 must be looking forward to the announcement of their exam result. As soon as it is announce, the MTS Result SSC can be checked from the official Staff Selection Commission website.
Kindly undergo the following procedure to check the marks after result is officially released by the commission:
- Open the official SSC website which is ssc.nic.in.
- Click the link for “SSC MTS Exam Result 2017” Write-up & Marks.
- The region wise list of the qualified candidates shall be shown.
- Download the Result File as per your state, examination.
- Open it using a PDF reader and search for your roll number/hall ticket number.
- If your name or hall ticket number is available in the list, it means you have qualified the MTS Examination by SSC.
Selection Procedure for MTS Vacancies – The applicants need to participate and qualify two papers which are Paper I and Paper II respectively. As per SSC MTS Selection procedure 2016-17 mentioned in the notification, the shortlisted candidates on the basis of Paper I Score, will be called to participate in the Paper II.
The Paper II carries the qualifying nature which means the score of 2nd paper won’t be added in the final merit list. The Final Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Paper I. The basic qualifying standards (cut off marks) shall be fixed Category, State wise for Paper II.
About Staff Selection Commission
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is under the authority of the government of India and is burdened with the task of recruiting various staff members for several posts in different departments under the government itself.
Officially known as the Subordinate Service Commission, the SSC was established in 1975. There are several regional offices of the SSC, like in Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai with two sub-regional offices in Raipur and Chandigarh, while it’s headquarters is based in New Delhi.
