Downloading of Group I Prelim Exam Admit Cards will be enabled by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission at their official websites www.tnpsc.gov.in & tnpscexams.net. This year TNPSC notified 85 various vacancies under Group 1 services examination.
The Result for Group 1 Prelim will be announced within three months in which more than 4,000 candidates (50 times the available posts) will be selected to take part in Main exam.
Under the advertisement issued back in August 2016, the commission accepted online applications up to the first week of December 2016 month. Following are the vacancies advertised in TNPSC Group I Recruitment 2016-17:

For above-given posts, written test (Prelim) will be held for the eligible candidates on 19th Feb 2017. Those candidates who are eligible to appear in the prelim test for “Combined Civil Services-I (Group I Services)” can download their TNPSC Hall Ticket using the login details. Application ID is required to download the call letter for Group I Prelim examination 2016-17.
TNPSC Group I Exam Pattern: Group 1 Services Recruitment is completed in two parts i.e Prelim Exam & Main Exam. Prelim Exam consists of 200 objective type questions asked for 300 marks.
Group I Main Exam has three papers respectively Paper I, Paper II & Paper III and each of them carries 300 marks. Descriptive type questions need to be answered in the main examination. In last oral test (Interview) is conducted for 120 marks.
Exam Dates: The prelim examination for Group 1 services is scheduled to be held on Feb 19, 2017. The Main Exam has Three papers which will be conducted on three various dates which are yet to be delivered.

To print out the Memorandum of Admission (Hall Ticket) for the Tamil Nadu PSC Group I Prelim Exam, aspirants need to enter the application number along with the birth date of the candidate. Disabling the Popup inside your browser is recommended, though.
