West Bengal Staff Selection Commission is looking for worthy candidates in it’s latest recruitment. Online exam will be conducted against 599 Lower Division Assistant (LDA) / Lower Division Clerk (LDC) vacancies. Exam to take place tentatively in February 2016 against these posts. LDC Online Test will be conducted in two Parts i.e Part I and Part II.
Off course exam will be conducted on separate dates. Qualifiers for Part I to be considered for Part II exam. There will be objective type questions in Part I while Part II will having conventional type questions. West Bengal LDC Exam Pattern goes as following:
Part I: Total 100 questions for 100 marks. M.C.Q.s from English (30 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks). Each question to hold single mark. Duration for this part of online examination is 1 Hour and 30 Minutes.
Part II: It consists of conventional type questions. It carries 50 questions in each group. Group A of this part is English language. Group B contains Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali languages. Duration of this paper is 1 Hour.
Note: State Board examinations should be equal to Madhyamik Examination conducted by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. Final merit list / selection will be based on marks secured in Part I and Part II of online test. Official website www.wbssc.gov.in should be visited for upcoming changes & updates.
