West Bengal School Service Commission has finally announced the Teachers Eligibility Test (WB TET) Results 2015-16. There has been almost one year and 1 month since the date of the examination. But at least now the WB TET 2015 Result has been declared by the commission. The commission has taken a lot of the time already for processing the outcomes.
As the announcement has been made, all appeared aspirants shall be able to check their WB TET Results using official website www.westbengalssc.com. Based on the provision by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), test for Upper Primary Level (UPL) candidates was conducted on August 16th, 2015 across the state.
Answer Keys for West Bengal TET examination have been issued along with the result, unlike other states. When it comes to HTET, PSTET, KTET, CTET or any other state-level teacher eligibility test, first answers keys are announced. Then the result is declared on the basis of finalized keys after accepting the objections regarding keys from the candidates.
Exam Pattern, Certification & Cut Off
The venue was changed in case of specific centers due to heavy rainfall and exam took place without any hassle. To get the certificate of TET qualification, aspirants have to score 60% marks (90) out of 150 marks in total. Having a sharp mind is vital to crack such exams because you get one minute to answer the particular question. Time allowed to complete the 150 questions is 150 minutes for TET exams.
Reserved Category candidates excluding OBC needs to score 55% marks to get the eligibility certification. TET Qualification certificates are usually dispatched to qualified candidates within one month of result declaration. TET Certificate is valid for five years. However, it doesn’t ensure the job availability. TET makes you eligible to apply for govt teacher vacancies.

Exam for Primary Level candidates was conducted on October 11th, 2015. Later news came that question paper for Primary level TET was leaked through the WhatsApp. Voice was raised by the media regarding the cancellation of the exam but the commission wasn’t into the mood of starting things from scratch.

The WB TET Result was delayed due the court case. Calcutta High Court ordered to announce the WB TET Results immediately
The result could take more time to get announced if the court wasn’t caring enough. The Calcutta High Court, under the panel of Justice C S Karnan, directed the state government and education commission to release the most awaited West Bengal TET Exam results. About 23 Lakh candidates had participated in the West Bengal Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) that held in August and October 2015.
The petition was filed by a few candidates over the government’s decision of allowing non-trained candidates to take part in the TET.
